Chief Investment Portfolio Officer: Assist with the acquisition of non-performing and sub-performing loans, origination of bridge loans, preferred equity, financing for restructured or acquired loans and the acquisition of real estate assets. Provide project updates to equity partners, borrowers, and lenders. Coordinate asset and fund strategies. . Interact closely with the acquisition team members to evaluate investments post closing, and propose realization events (sale, refinancing, etc.). Maintain all investment records and provide internal asset management reports. Review due diligence reports & investment summaries.. Source market information including comparable sales and rents. Perform site inspections. Coordinate dissemination of communications to investors, etc. Develop presentations and informational materials for investors with underwriting team. Maintain investor relations. Oversee and manage servicing of performing and non performing loans. Manage and oversee legal actions and negotiations with non performing borrowers. Responsible for obtaining and managing financing for new construction.
Required: Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance plus 2 years experience in job offered or as Real Estate Financial Analyst with similar duties. Experience must include underwriting experience, loan acquisitions, loan servicing and asset dispositions with multi-million dollar commercial property deals.
